Day 13: temple Konomieji is said to be a major highlight of the o-Henro walk

Today I walked from hotel Nahari hot spring up to temple Konomieji (T27), which involved a very steep incline (520 m altitude). This temple is - also because of its quiet location in the hills said to be a major highlight of the o-Henro walk (I will make my final judgement at the end of the tour). The weather was mixed: cloudy, some light rain and sunny moments at about 20 degrees Celsius. When the sun comes out, it immediately feels hot, if you are not walking in the shadow.

I took the train from Tokohama to Wajiki and walked from here 3 km to the Royal Tosa hotel, which also has a hot spring bath.

Walking distance today: 20 km (total: 258 km).
