Day 42: Marugame Castle

The visual highlight of the day was Marugame Castle with its high and steep stone walls. Now I have also a nice collection of Shikoku castles pictures. I missed to see Imabari castle, which seems to be also very beautiful.

Today I walked 25 km from Zentsuji to Sakaide (total: 943 km) and visited 4 temples. The morning started cloudy and a hefty wind was blowing. During the day it got sunny again. Todays temperature height has dropped compared to previous days to 20 degrees Celsius; good walking conditions!

Zentsuji temple (T75) at about 7.00 a.m.

Doryuji temple (T77) at 11:00 a.m.

Goshoji temple (T78)

The walk today was basically flat. But still 150 meters of altitude were achieved during the day (but no steep inclines were part of it).
